Carmel Beach is our go-to spot for the summer! The atmosphere is unbeatable and knowing they cater to dogs just makes the experience 10 times better. Last year, my Cocker Spaniel, Louie, literally made friends left and right. For anyone wondering, this place is truly a paradise for your furry friends. The wide-open space, the waves, the sand – it’s like watching a kid in a candy store, except it’s your dog and an endless beach. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

Cannon Beach and Carmel Beach are popular spots, but if you visit early in the morning or later in the evening, it’s usually quieter. Fort De Soto Park tends to have more space to spread out, which might help your Cocker Spaniel feel more comfortable.
